This page lists some of the (generally not very good) games I've written. Most games are for Windows and come with source code (usually licensed under the GPL), in case it can be of any help to someone. Unless stated, they're written in c++. Also, they're in chronological order (newest to oldest)
disintegrate
v1.00
A basic shootemup with two fairly unique features:
- Instead of starting off with a weedy gun fighting weedy enemies, you start off with a big gun fighting big enemies. As you take damage, the gun loses power (gets smaller), and as the game progresses the enemies get weaker (they get smaller and eventually stop shooting at you) and more numerous. The idea was that if you were starting a war, you'd start by using your most powerful weapons, not your weakest ones
- As well as a fire button, you also get a 'peace treaty' button. When this is toggled, the game will determine whether you're more powerful than the enemies you're fighting, and if you are, you will sign a peace treaty with the enemy and the game will end.
Other than that it's roughly similar to Bobbley Bop, gameplay-wise. I think the visual and aural aesthetic (the sound consists entirely of real-time generated sine tones) is the most successful part of the game.

Space Archer
v1.00
Space Archer is a simple two player (one computer) turn-based strategy game based roughly (very roughly) on the fictional game 'The Day of Sagittarius III' in the anime 'The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi'. You can think of it as a kind of version of battleships in space. The aim is to destroy the enemy's main ship, but first you have to find out where it is.

Bobbley Bop
v1.00
A very cheap and rubbish rip-off of Jeff Minter's fantastic Gridrunner++. Written using SDL, and licensed under the GPL. The one interesting thing about it is that instead of using samples for the sounds, they're all synthesised in real-time.

Jump n Bump GUI
v1.00
A simple GUI frontend for the game Jump n Bump (http://www.jumpbump.mine.nu/), so you can select levels and options without having to resort to the command line.

Attack of the Killer Zombie Space Mutants
v1.00
A simple survival game, the aim of which is to survive as long as you can (and thus get the high score). The first game I've ever written, it's also known in some countries as Attack of the Killer Cabbage-heads. (Delphi)
